Fifth grade students in Jen Morel's classroom use Storybird.com to find images and create stories to show their understanding of their vocabulary words from the story, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
"First, we use the Text Vocabulary worksheet from the Unit of Study to record meanings and context clues. Then, the students use the words in their stories."
The possibilities are endless! Students can create narrative stories using the endless library of pictures on Storybird, or they can read stories that have already been created by other students.
The potential is endless!!!
