Book Tasting at its Finest

Students in Katie Larsh's 3rd grade classroom had an opportunity to "taste" books of all favors at her Book Tasting event last Friday.

Students had a chance to explore an array of chapter books based on their interest and record their choices in their Cafe Seventeen Dinner Menu.

Students were even given "Helpful Adjectives" to include in their menu writing.

Of course, Katie dressed for the part as the the lead chef for the day!

Once their menu was complete students then had to decide on their top 3 book choices.

Of course there had to be some actual food at this event!
