Preschool in Action

In Mrs. Carlson's morning preschool class at Graniteville School, the children are exploring the R I Early Learning and Development Standards by building with blocks and cooking in the family life center.  They are being exposed to and using language to describe similarities and differences between real life objects, using tools (standard and non-standard) to classify items and building vocabulary when describing directionality, order and the position of objects.
