What a fabulous use of goal setting in Julia Carnevale's 6th Grade ELA classroom at Ferri Middle School. Julia first had students reflect (via Google Classroom) on a goal for themselves, as this is now the beginning of the second quarter. She made certain the goals were "SMART" goals, as they either connected to an academic or personal goal that she could help her students with. Below are 2 great examples.
