If you are looking for suggestions to incorporate word study into your ELA rotation, here are some terrific ideas! Sherri Pontarelli took the activities offered in the Grade 4, Word Study Scope and Sequence and had them copied (by me), laminated and ready to be placed in a center activity. Students have a response sheet to record their thoughts and an answer sheet to check their work.

I love this idea she has posted on the wall. She added powerful words for each part of Ba Da Bing so students now have a resource in the room to use daily.
